Adult Therapy
Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and begin to feel more steady and grounded. I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, low mood, identity shifts, and other periods of change. I also work with couples who want support with communication, parenting alignment, and strengthening their relationship during times of stress or transition.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, practical, and active. We will work together to help you better understand what you are going through, while also focusing on small, meaningful steps to help relieve distress and support change. The goal is not quick fixes or perfection, but helping you feel greater clarity, steadiness, and confidence as you move through challenges.
My work also includes supporting women through pregnancy, early parenthood, and the emotional shifts that come with caregiving and other periods of transition.
What I Help With
Adults seek therapy for many different reasons. I often work with individuals experiencing anxiety or persistent worry, relationship stress or communication difficulties, life transitions, low mood, identity changes, or feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. I also work with couples who want to better understand patterns in their relationship and build more supportive ways of communicating and connecting. Therapy can be helpful whether concerns are longstanding or more recent, and whether distress feels clearly defined or harder to put into words.
What Therapy Looks Like
Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your needs. We’ll focus on understanding what’s happening now, making sense of patterns that feel stuck, and identifying supportive ways to move forward. Our work together will proceed at a pace that feels manageable and comfortable, and sessions may include reflection, practical tools, and small steps to try between meetings.
Next Steps
If you are considering therapy, I encourage you to reach out. We'll talk briefly about what's going on and what you're hoping for. From there, we can decide together if it feels like a good fit. Feel free to reach out by phone or email.
